​This year, my mum and I are taking part in Walk With Us 2026 to raise vital funds for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, in loving memory of Peter "Wads" Wadham.

​Many of you will remember Wads for his incredible spirit, his warmth, and the joy he brought to so many as a proud member of Nelson’s Shantymen. He sadly passed away last year, leaving a huge void in the hearts of everyone who knew, loved, and sang alongside him.

​To honor his memory and the happiness he shared with our community, we are walking to support Tapping House. They provide essential, compassionate care and support to individuals and families when they need it most, relying heavily on community fundraising to keep their doors open.

​Whether you can spare a little or a lot, every donation makes a real difference to this wonderful charity and serves as a fitting tribute to a true legend. Let's raise some funds for a great cause in honor of Wads.
