I am fundraising to help raise money for Beaumaris Youth Band so that we can travel to Linz, Austria, for the European Brass Band Competition. We qualified to represent Wales in this competition last year during the Eisteddfod. It's an incredible opportunity for us and we are now working really hard to prepare for the event.

Since joining the band in 2021, I have progressed from the junior band to the intermediate band, and now I proudly play in both the youth and senior bands. Band is a place where I have made some great friends and had the opportunity to challenge myself with playing a huge range of different music.

Getting to Linz is expensive and I want to help raise funds that can help to get us there. I am not old enough to enter an organised half marathon race but am now in training and going to run one myself on the weekend of 18/19 April.
