10 of us from the UHB finance team will be taking on the Great Birmingham Run in aid of University Hospitals Birmingham Charities. By supporting us, you will be making a difference to the patients and their families that come into our hospitals.

Being in hospital can be really tough physically and emotionally...This is why our hospital charities do as much as they can to make patients and their families feel as supported as possible during their treatment. Each hospital charity provides the added extras that are "over and above" what the NHS can fund as standard.

Specifically I am looking to raise funds for the Neonatal Units at Heartlands Hospital and Good Hope Hospital, which are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for preterm and term infants who require medical or nursing care after birth.

Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated and keep us motivated/(accountable!) whilst we embark on our training plans.
