It's going to be my Bar Mitzvah on 28th June. Part of becoming a Jewish adult is taking on a mitzvah project- in other words doing something good to give back to the community. For my Mitzvah Project I will be doing a 5km run with my Dad raising money for a charity called Gateways. Gateways is a charity that helps young jewish people from the age of 14-25 who find it hard to go to mainstream schools. I chose this charity because I have found it hard to go to school and so I know how important it is to have places like Gateways.

I'll be running 5km on Sunday 22nd June. I am very grateful for any donation, and I know Gateways will be too.
