My oldest friend from day dot passed away from such an awful horrendous disease on 28th July. I sadly cannot make his service of reflection and that absolutely breaks my heart, I have felt torn in cancelling a family holiday for days now to be able to attend. I just know he would of said "dont be silly mate, lifes too short". I have felt lacking in motivation for few months and have been looking for a challenge. His devastatingly sad passing has encouraged me to set myself a huge challenge. Im going to be running an ultra marathon, a 30 mile (50k) trial run in the North downs on the 22nd Feb 26, ending at Denbies wine estate in Dorking, almost exactly 6 months after his day of rest. I would love not only for your money in support of an amazing charity that supported both Gregg and his family, but also to see as many of you there at the finish line as possible so we can raise a glass to the legend that is Gregg Jones.
