Story

At SAM, we’re proud to support our chosen charity partner, the Children’s Burns Trust, and this year we’re getting behind an incredible challenge.

Nigel Jeff, Engineering Maintenance Manager at SAM, is taking on the Norn Iron Ultra 100, a demanding 108 mile Ultra run along Northern Irelands famous North Antrim coast, running from Ballintoy to the small village of Gortin in Omagh, all in support of this very special cause.

This is no small feat. Nigel has committed to months of dedicated training to prepare for the challenge, and we’ll be sharing updates along the way as he builds up to the big day. From early mornings to long miles, it’s a huge physical and mental test.

The Children’s Burns Trust is a charity close to the hearts of many across SAM. The vital work they do supporting children and families affected by burn and scald injuries makes a real difference to lives, providing care, rehabilitation, and ongoing support when it’s needed most.

As a company, we’re proud to stand behind Nigel and support this challenge. We’re aiming to raise as much as possible to help the Children’s Burns Trust continue their incredible work.

Any donation, big or small, will go a long way, and will help drive Nigel on every step of those 108 miles!

Thank you for your support. 🙌
