We're Taking on The Big QMC Abseil!
This year, Nik and I will be taking part in The Big QMC Abseil, taking in the breathtaking views of Nottingham from the top of the Queen's Medical Centre before bravely descending a 100-foot drop down the side of one of the UK's tallest hospitals.
We're doing this in memory of our beloved Kayleigh, who was not only our colleague for over 20 years but also a much-loved member of the Pellacraft family. She truly was our bonus sister, and we miss her more than words can say.
When Kayleigh was first diagnosed, the teams at Nottingham City Hospital, the Oncology Department, and Nottingham Hospitals Charity provided incredible care, support, and compassion. Their help meant so much to Kayleigh and to all of us who loved her, and for that, we will be forever grateful.
Your generous donations will help Nottingham Hospitals Charity continue its vital work across all four Nottingham hospitals: Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, Nottingham Children's Hospital, and Ropewalk House. Together, they support thousands of patients and their families across Nottinghamshire when they need it most.
By taking on this challenge, we're hoping to give something back and help support the amazing work they continue to do for people facing their own difficult journeys.
If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, we would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution will help support this fantastic cause and means so much to us as we honour Kayleigh's memory.
Thank you for supporting us on our fundraising journey and for encouraging us as we take on this challenge.
🧡 For Kayleigh. Always in our hearts 🧡
