Last year my dad, Martin, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Since his diagnosis he has been really inspirational in terms of raising awareness for the condition and taking all the treatment in his stride.

I want to show him some support by raising money for Prostate Cancer UK as part of running the Manchester Marathon on 19 April 2026. Hopefully I can do some good with my self-destructive quest for a sub-4 hour marathon!

Prostate Cancer Research provide a huge number of resources for men suffering with prostate cancer as well as funding research with the goal of creating a future where prostate cancer no longer threatens lives.
