Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have put together a team of runners who will be taking part in the Bedford Running Festival, alongside a team of runners in Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre (IRC). All runners will be paired with someone in the IRC, who will be running on the treadmill in the gym.

I’ve been paired with R, an EU National who has lived in the UK for 12 years. The Home Office are disputing his work history, and whilst he is waiting for a resolution he has been detained in Yarl’s Wood. He enjoys all sports, particularly football, and loves to talk politics.

All money raised will go directly to supporting our services providing emotional and practical support to those caught up in immigration detention, and once they have been released.
