Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
Having dedicated over a decade to the world of cricket, I have had the privilege of working closely with Chance to Shine, a remarkable charity that uses cricket as a powerful tool to inspire and develop young people. It feels only right that I take this opportunity to raise awareness for such an incredible cause.
Chance to Shine operates nationwide, reaching over 620,000 primary and secondary school pupils. They provide young people with their first experience of cricket, fostering positive attitudes towards physical activity and highlighting the profound impact it can have on their lives. Through their programs, they cultivate essential skills ranging from physical literacy to leadership, ensuring access to sport for those who may not have had such opportunities before.
Having witnessed firsthand the transformative power of physical activity on children, I am passionate about not just promoting cricket but also helping children understand the importance of physical health and social skills. If we can encourage more young people to engage in physical activity, we can significantly improve the physical and mental well-being of the next generation.
As I prepare to participate in the London Marathon 2026 on April 26th, I am setting a target of £2,500 to support Chance to Shine's mission. Together, let us spread the word about the importance of physical health and cricket! Your generous contributions will help make a difference in countless young lives.
