Everesting Bike Park Wales- Continuously mountain biking to climb the height of Everest · 2 May 2024

We are a voluntary Search and Rescue service covering the Central Brecon Beacons and the South and Mid Wales area. A 999 24/7 service operating in all weather conditions to assist those injured/lost in mountain/rural/urban environments. We rely on donations for the £60,000 yearly running costs.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

On the 2nd of May 2024, three mountain bike riders from south Wales will be embarking on a monumental challenge at Bike Park Wales - Everesting. This entails continuously cycling to climb the equivalent height of Mt Everest, a staggering 8,849m.

The riders Khalid Rahmani, Jack Perry and Sam Robson will conquer every trail on the hill, including the most technically challenging lines, pushing their endurance and skills to the limit. The event will test their perseverance as they ride through the night without stopping for over 24 hours.

We are raising funds for the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, who provide invaluable support to our community and will be assisting us throughout this incredible feat.

Your donations and shares are greatly appreciated as we strive to raise awareness and support for this cause. Donating through JustGiving is secure and efficient, ensuring that your contribution directly benefits the charity.
