Bolton MRT is made up entirely of volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We provide search & rescue cover for over 800 sq km and educate the public on how to stay safe when enjoying the great outdoors. We require £50,000 each year to keep going, so your donations help!

In October 2024 I fractured my ankle and fibia when walking in Rivington. Bolton Mountain Rescue came to my aid.
