Story
Fourteen months ago my life changed in a way I never expected. I suffered a heart attack and had to undergo a quadruple heart bypass. It was one of the most frightening and uncertain times of my life, not just for me but for the people around me who care about me.
Going through something like that makes you realise how fragile life can be, but it also shows you just how incredible the support around you can be. The care, advice and ongoing support I’ve received since from the British Heart Foundation has been genuinely amazing. Their help after surgery, the guidance on recovery, and the reassurance they provide to heart patients makes a huge difference when you’re trying to rebuild your health and confidence again.
Recovery doesn’t just stop when you leave hospital. The aftercare, information and support they give people like me is vital, and it’s something I’m incredibly grateful for every single day ❤️
That’s why I’m raising money to support the work they do. The research they fund, the support they provide, and the lives they help save and improve are truly invaluable.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean a lot. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing the page helps spread awareness.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give 🙏
