Hi, my name's Sam and I will be running my first ever marathon this year in August.

I am a post liver transplant patient and have been supported by CLDF throughout my childhood. They are a fantastic team that provide research, support for families and patients alike and great events to help meet others just like me.

In the build up to this challenge, I will also be running my first ever half marathon in my local town of Colchester in March.

Running has been a crucial part of mental and physical recovery for me and to be able to push for this event is an extreme privilege for me that I can't take for granted. Fortunately, I am now in a position to achieve something I have wanted to do for many years and Strava will be linked to this page (as of 01/02/2024) so you can track my progress! I am ready to go full send to achieve this dream.
