Story
PCA is a rare form of dementia, most often linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Unlike typical Alzheimer’s, which is usually associated with memory loss, PCA affects the back of the brain—the area responsible for visual processing and spatial awareness.
It often affects people at a younger age than expected, making the diagnosis even more shocking and difficult for families. Because it’s so rare and not widely understood, it can take a long time to diagnose, leaving many people feeling confused, isolated, and overwhelmed.
Over the years, I’ve seen friends and family members—including those close to my partner—affected by this illness. Seeing the impact it has had inspired me to do something meaningful.
So I’m jumping out of a plane to help raise awareness and support those living with PCA and their families.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world. Thank you so much for your support
