A number of people have asked about my fundraising page, so here it is!

On 8th June at 12:00 I will start Endure 24 for the first time as a solo runner.

My goal is to complete 13 laps of the off-road course, totaling 104 km, before 12:00 PM the next day. It's going to be a very long 24 hours and completely uncharted territory for me!

I've attended the event before as part of a relay team and walked up the hills in the middle of the night. This time, when I'm over 50 km in and slogging up yet another hill in the dark, I'll be proud to be raising money for a charity that means something to me.

In February 2023 I received a call telling me Alex had passed away. Alex was 38-years old, the definition of health and had an Instagram account of him travelling the world with his six-pack abs. What had been diagnosed as a respiratory infection was actually Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

For those of us that had the pleasure of knowing Alex, we all remember him as one of the very best. I'm proud to be able to contribute to something in his memory.
