In 2024 I'll be running 4 half marathons for JDRF - Newport, Southampton, Bristol and the Great North Run for JDRF! After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 22 years ago, JDRF played a massive part in giving me the chance to connect with other kids going through the same challenges I was. Day trips and camps allowed me to embrace my diabetes and gave my family the guidance to support me with it. My fundraising will provide vital funds for type 1 diabetes research, which will help to improve the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes - and one day eradicate the condition for good.
