I am swimming the English Channel with 4 other wonderful, and much more experience open water swimmers than me as part of a relay team.

Some of you know I have been volunteering at Wilton Riding for the Disabled. This is the most wonderful place providing horse therapy for a wide range of abilities and disabilities. I have always been passionate about horses and this is such a rewarding charity that relies on donations to run The Pembroke Centre where it is housed on the Wilton Estate.

I would appreciate a donation, however small. The training so far has been very challenging, getting used to cold water swimming (no wetsuit), salty sea, waves, night swims and anything else the sea throws at you. I have certainly conquered a few fears and I am sure there will be more during the swim.
