Samantha's fundraiser for PNH Support

Samantha Clayton is raising money for PNH Support
In memory of Grandad

Manchester Half Marathon 2025 · 12 October 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

We support patients living with Paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH), an ultra-rare bone marrow failure disease, and their families in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. No PNH patient is alone - all are represented and enabled to live to their full potential with PNH.

Story

Emily had a great idea to sign up for the Manchester half marathon despite neither of us being active runners.

We are both running in memory of my grandad who suffered with PNH (Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria) a rare and life threatening blood disorder. The estimated prevalence is between 1 and 9 of every 100,000 people. This condition is super rare.

Sadly, we lost grandad in March 2024.

Emily and I will be running the Manchester half on 12 October 2025 to raise awareness of the condition, the charity, and hopefully some money.
