Please join me in raising vital funds to support serving men and women, veterans and families who will call on SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity for help in time of need.

I previously served in the military before sustaining a spinal injury and being medically discharged. I found the transition to civilian life difficult and didn’t know how my future was going to plan out for me when I had signed up the the military with the vision of a full lengths service.

I am able to put on a strong front and as such people don’t see the day to day pain I live in. Of course I have been judged before with comments such as ‘it can’t be that back you’re able to ….’ or ‘I don’t see an injury’ etc.

My aim is to run a mile everyday from 1st November until Remembrance Day wearing a different pairs of shoes each day. This to represent that no matter how someone might look on the outside we need to be mindful of their personal struggles on the inside
