London to Brighton Bike Ride 2024 · 16 June 2024 ·
I was born with an incredibly rare condition, Laurin-Sandrow Syndrome. It meant that I had to have extensive reconstruction surgery, I had over 30 operations by the time I was 16 years old. I spent many years in a wheelchair or using crutches. I couldn't ride a bike as a child, I'd sit in my wheelchair and dream about what it would feel like. At 30 years old my dream came true, thanks to a special pedal adapter. I ride a purple tricycle and now that I have the ability and strength to ride far, I want to celebrate that by doing the London to Brighton bike ride. It will be a great opportunity for me to inspire others and to help raise money to help other disabled children.
