Story
Running has always been my escape. It's how I switch off, clear my head and leave the stresses of everyday life behind. Whether it's a quick run after work or training for a bigger event, running is a real passion of mine.
It's also important to me that everyone has a safe place to call home. Through my work at Southern Housing, I see how much having a secure home can transform lives, which is why I'm proud to be taking part in the Together for Homes 5k at Battersea Park as part of Southern Housing's 125th anniversary celebrations.
I'm running to raise money for Crisis, the national charity dedicated to ending homelessness. Crisis provides practical support to people experiencing homelessness and campaigns for the long-term changes needed to ensure everyone has a place to call home.
For me, this event brings together two things I care deeply about: running and helping people have the safety, security and dignity that comes with a home.
If you're able to support me with a donation, I'd be incredibly grateful.
