In February 2021 I lost my eldest son Alastair to cancer, he fought this disease right up to the end and I can't believe how brave he was.

This year I have really struggled with my grief and other stuff and it resulted in me having to take a few weeks off work, during this time I did a lot of walking which seemed to help. So I decided do the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike and have even got a team of my work colleagues to join me.

So to say a massive thank you to Macmillian for all the advice and practical nursing they gave my Ali we will be setting off on 28th June 2025 and walking 14.5miles in his memory and everyone else who has been touched by cancer and Macmillan.
