On 13th May 2026 we took on the challenge of Brunning and Price PPP triathlon in Eryri (aka Snowdonia).

Potter

A 6 hour hike of the Glyderau Masif, taking in North Face of Tryfan, Bristly Ridge, Glyder Fach, Glyder Fawr and Y Garn.

Pedal

A 2 hour ride within the Gwydr Mawr Trail, formerly known as the Marin Trail. Following part of the famous 25km route above Betws y Coed.

Paddle

An hour Kayaking on the Llyn Padarn.

This was a difficult challenge in itself to begin with, but unfortunately we had the weather against us, which doubled the intensity. Due to safety reasons the route had to be altered slightly & we sadly could not attempt the North Face of Tryfan.

Whilst this was a personal challenge to each of us we would like to raise some sponsorship to provide funds towards our local hospice The Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Backford. They took great care of my Mum in her final days & many others in the local area. Hospices still receive no government funding & rely heavily on any fundraising so any help is greatly appreciated.
