I am excited to share my journey as I take on a remarkable challenge in 2024 – The Great Bristol Run. But, this run is not just about personal achievement; it's about making a difference in the lives of children who need our help. I am running to support an incredible cause - The Grand Appeal.

In 2022 we found out that our beautiful Poppy had DDH (Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip). After 2 surgeries within 3 weeks and 9 weeks in a hip spica Poppy was able to relearn how to walk again and is recovering well. Poppy has regular X Rays and check ups and will need further surgery as she gets older. The Trauma and Orthopedic Department at the Children’s BRI have been amazing so I want to raise some money for them as a thank you.

I’m not a runner at all so this is a challenge for me but one I want to make worth while.
