Bury Cancer Support Centre is an independent self-funding charity, supporting those whose lives are touched by cancer. We are based in Bury but serve Greater Manchester and beyond.

The 1st of April will mark our 20th Anniversary! Throughout the coming year we wish to mark this wonderful anniversary by giving thanks, celebrating and fundraising.

Our development from half a day per week in a church hall to 5 days a week in a fit for purpose building has been remarkable. This has only been achieved and made possible by the dedication, hard work and commitment of our staff, trustees and volunteers.

None of this could have been possible without the financial support and fundraising efforts of businesses throughout the North West and wonderful groups and individuals such as yourselves.

Our hope is to raise £20,000 over the year using the number 20 as our fundraising theme. Details of events, ideas and plans will be available on this page, our instagram and Facebook page.

I have worked at Bury Cancer Support Centre for eight years as a complementary therapist.

I wanted to do my bit to help raise funds for the centre.

As the number 20 is being used to promote our fundraising efforts. I decided to sleep in a tent for 20 nights.
