Story
I’m not a runner by nature, but I've been training hard for this because I am desperate to give something back to my beloved Israel and those fighting for its survival.
I believe in Beit Halochem, an incredible organisation that supports disabled Israeli veterans and victims of terror.
Beit Halochem UK is a charity which is devoted to raising awareness and funds for the Beit Halochem centres in Israel. These Centres provide rehabilitative services and life long care for disabled veterans of the Israeli Defence Forces along with victims of terror and their families.
Since October 7th 2023...
In the wake of the devastating events that transpired on October 7th 2023, the subsequent military operations have left Beit Halochem facing a critical situation.
Currently, they are confronted with the pressing needs of over 10,000 newly injured soldiers and victims of terror. The toll of injured soldiers since the ground forces entered Gaza is a stark reminder of the ongoing challenges. These numbers continue to rise daily.
Beit Halochem centres
The 61,000 Beit Halochem members (IDF Veterans and Victims of Terror) are given a new lease of life at Beit Halochem's four rehabilitation centres based in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Beer Sheva. They remain members of the organisation for the rest of their lives.
