Story
This year my old school friends and I are all making plans for our 40ths and yet one friend will not share this milestone as tragically 10 years ago she was taken far too soon.
Marie was active, fantastic at trampolining and appeared the picture of health and beauty so there was no indication that she would have an underlying heart condition that would end her life far to soon.
This June I will be taking part in the London Bridges Walk which give supporters the opportunity to connect with others, and remember those who have died from Young Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD).
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
