Story

On 5th September, Me & Eliza will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in support of St Catherine’s Hospice – a charity that means alot to both of us.

I’m completing this challenge in memory of my Auntie Sharon, who sadly passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. During her final weeks, she received incredible care and compassion from St Catherine’s Hospice, for which my family and I will always be grateful.

Eliza is also taking on this challenge in memory of her mum, who she sadly lost to breast cancer. St Catherine’s are also currently supporting her grandad, who is living with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a rare progressive neurological condition. The care, kindness and support they provide to him and their family has been incredible, and together we truly believe the team at St Catherine’s are angels.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is one of the UK’s most iconic hiking challenges, involving the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) in a single day. The route is a 24-mile circular walk starting and finishing in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, with over 5,200 feet of ascent. It will be a huge physical and mental challenge, but knowing we’re doing it for such an amazing cause will keep us going every step of the way.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help St Catherine’s Hospice continue providing the exceptional care, dignity and support that means so much to patients and families when they need it most.

Thank you so much for your support. ❤️🥰
