Story
Family should be a place of safety, support and belonging, yet for too many young people those foundations are fragile or have broken down. Every young person deserves the chance to feel secure, valued and hopeful about their future.
That's why I'm taking part in the TBF Sleep Out 2026 in support of The Benjamin Foundation. As a Trustee, I have seen first-hand the life-changing impact the charity has on young people across Norfolk. Their work goes far beyond providing practical support. They help young people navigate difficult circumstances, build confidence, develop independence and create brighter futures.
No young person should face homelessness. Sadly, many do. Family breakdown, relationship difficulties, financial hardship and other challenges can leave young people vulnerable and unsure where to turn. The Benjamin Foundation works tirelessly to intervene early, providing support that helps prevent homelessness before it happens and ensuring young people have access to the guidance, stability and opportunities they need to thrive.
For one night, I'll be swapping my warm bed for a sleeping bag outdoors. While I know this can never truly reflect the reality faced by young people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, it is an opportunity to raise awareness and vital funds for a cause that means a great deal to me.
By sponsoring me, you'll be helping The Benjamin Foundation continue its essential work supporting vulnerable young people, strengthening lives, creating opportunities and giving hope where it is needed most.
Thank you for helping to ensure that more young people in Norfolk have the support, stability and brighter future they deserve. ❤️
