Story
My lovely mum Chrissie recently passed away following a short but incredibly brave battle with lung cancer. Mum spent her final days at Hospice Isle of Man where she received the most brilliant care. The building is lovely and spotless and the gardens are simply beautiful but the staff are what really make this place special. Mum could not have received better attention and it was always delivered with a smile.
I cannot thank the staff enough, not just for looking after mum but for the support given to me and my family too.
The Hospice is mostly funded by donations and fund raising, so I am shaving my head to raise as much money as possible to say a massive thank you for looking after my mum.
The hair will of course be donated to the Little Princess Trust who also do amazing work for children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatments and other conditions.
I have set the amount to raise at £420 which is the cost of a patient bed for one day at the Hospice, but obviously it would be amazing to raise more.
Grateful for any support (and hats!!) that you can give
Much love
Samantha x
