Ribbon Display's for Baby Loss Awareness Week · 9 October 2023 to 15 October 2023 ·

During Baby Loss Awareness Week (9th -15th October), Sands volunteers are creating Ribbon Display's up and down the country.

Story

As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, 9 - 15th October 2024, I will create a ribbon display on the large oak tree on the green outside Enfield Town Library.

The loss of a baby or pregnancy is heart-breaking. I chose to use wooden hearts to symbolise the impact baby loss has on the hearts of all those who loved, wanted and prayed for them. The hearts also represent the place we hold the memories of them most dearly.

Each heart will display the name of a baby being remembered. If you would like to dedicate a heart to a little life, you can send me a message, or leave a comment including their name when you donate.

All money raised will go to Sands, a charity that works to save babies' lives and support bereaved families. I benefited so much from their support after my own stillbirth in September 2016.

Thank you for all your support,

Samantha 💙
