Story
Recently, my Nan was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease. It’s a rare and complex condition, and coming to terms with it has been incredibly challenging for our family. Throughout this time, the support and information provided by the Huntington’s Disease Association has been invaluable, helping us better understand the condition and what lies ahead.
My aim in taking part in Odd Socks Day 2026 is to raise awareness of Huntington’s disease and the vital work carried out by the Huntington’s Disease Association. They support individuals and families affected by Huntington’s disease across England and Wales by providing advice, training, and guidance, raising awareness, and promoting research to improve treatment and care.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would be hugely appreciated. Every contribution helps the Association continue their important work and support families like mine. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and for your support.
