Story

Back in 2010 I ran my first ever half marathon (GNR) to this day that is still my best half time. Back then I ran to raise funds and awareness for reverse Rett an amazing charity helping families. I signed up to the Preston half marathon on the 27th sept this year, not for anything other than to finally train properly and try and beat that pb from all those years ago. Sadly last month Aimee, my cousins daughter passed away at just age 18, no age!! After attending the funeral, I decided I wanted to try and raise even just a small amount for this amazing charity to continue to help the wonderful work they do. If anyone can spare a few pennies then please do ❤️

The UK Rett Syndrome community is at a pivotal moment at the moment with two clinical trials of gene therapies underway.

Much is required of our small, rare disease organisation at this time. At Reverse Rett, we are packing a mighty punch in accelerating disease-modifying treatments for Rett syndrome but we need your support to keep our work going.
