For a charity close to my heart. Vranch house. They have been absolutely amazing in providing physiotherapy and orthotics for my daughter Romaya, who is now 6 years old.

Romaya was born with cerebral palsy, which mainly affects her right side. She uses 3 x as much energy in walking and daily tasks. Despite her challenges, she has the best "I can do it" attitude and tackles things head-on. I believe this is down to the wonderful staff at vranch House who have been so welcoming, enthusiastic, and so encouraging when working with Romaya. Her confidence has grown so much since using the hydrotherapy pool and riding on magic the black hypotherapy horse.

I am challenging myself to hike for 5 days, on averageabout 7 hours a day across Madeira.

I will be traversing from one side of Madeira to the other where I will be trekking through misty trails of the ancient laurel forest. Zig zagging through rugged landscapes. And of course...... Hiking the three highest peaks on Madeira, topping out on Pico Ruivo (1862m)

It's going to be a challenge, but I am so up for this. This will be happening over 29th April - 3rd of May.

This is a fully funded trip by myself. All donations will 100% go to vranch house apart from the small fee that justgiving take.

Vranch House provides specialist learning, care & therapy to children & young people with physical difficulties. Each young person also contends with additional complex needs such as Visual impairments, hearing impairments, multi-sensory impairments, autism, complex medical conditions & sadly, life limiting illnesses too. Our aim is to deliver personalised learning opportunities and therapies, providing pupils with a quiet, nurturing and supportive environment that enables them to thrive.
