Story
In January I was rushed into hospital in London. We were told that little William had to come out now, if they left him in they couldn’t be sure what would happen.
So a few hours later he was removed by emergency C-section and was taken to the NICU.
I went into recovery and a few days later was discharged, on top of all the trauma of him coming early was how on earth were we going to afford to come to London every day to be with him!
Then I got a call - from the Ronald McDonald House offering me a place to stay! It was a 10 minute walk from the hospital and meant I could be by his side everyday.
On top of that they provided main meals, sandwiches, cakes and other food from sponsors which was an added bonus!
Without their support we couldn’t have supported William and we would be a lot worse off mentally and financially.
I just want to try to raise as much money as I can to say thank you for all they did and to raise awareness for this amazing charity!
They are a lifesaver to many families who have kids in hospital like myself and without them many would suffer.
