Story
Meet Sami, a 10-year-old boy with a big heart and an even bigger goal! This April, during his school’s half-term break, Sami and his dad will embark on an exciting and challenging journey: climbing Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. But this is no ordinary hike – it’s a mission to raise £1,000 for Iqraa School in Syria.
Iqraa School, located in Al-Sahhara village in northern Syria, was established in 2014 by the Manchester community to provide education and support to children who have suffered due to war. The school is home to 650 students aged 6 to 15, and 21 dedicated teachers and staff. It offers not just education but also psychological and medical support, giving these children hope for a brighter future.
Unfortunately, the school relies entirely on donations to continue its work. This year, the cost of running the school is £65,000, and every contribution counts. That’s why Sami is determined to do his part and help ensure that these children receive the education they deserve.
Sami’s challenge is tough, but with your support, he can reach his goal! Every pound you donate brings us one step closer to making a real difference in the lives of these children.
Join Sami in his journey – donate today and help change lives!
