Hi everyone, my name is Sammy and I am classified as severely sight impaired. I have no vision in my right eye, and very limited vision in my left eye. As a result of my condition, I was always given a list of things I would never be able to do. But, me being me, instead of shying away from those things, I took them on as a challenge!

I may be visually impaired, but that is only a very small part of me. I am adventurous, sometimes mad, sometimes careless, but always up for thrill seeking! I like to think that by living a rich, full life, I am actively challenging the perception of what individuals with disabilities can accomplish. This is why when the opportunity to do a charity skydive for MyVision Oxfordshire presented itself, I literally could not say no!

The skydiving is set to take place on 12 July at Brackley Airfield and I will be jumping from a plane flying 10,000 feet above the ground (with a parachute attached to me) to raise both eyebrows and awareness for a fantastic charity. I welcome you to please consider sponsoring me for the event, however, any support would also be greatly valued. Even if you cannot make a monetary donation, feel free to come to the Airfield to cheer me on, whilst sporting my favourite colour - pink!
