Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Ocular Melanoma UK

Sammy Roullier is raising money for OCULAR MELANOMA UK

Yorkshire Three Peaks · 9 May 2026

Ocular melanoma is so rare and the prognosis often so overwhelming, that patients frequently report feeling totally isolated. We advocate for change by uniting stakeholders against ocular melanoma cancers so people receive the treatment, information and support they need.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In May 2026, a group of us will be tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Ocular Melanoma UK, a charity that’s been an incredible source of support for me and many others living with this rare cancer.

I was diagnosed in 2023, when my children were just 1 and 7. I had brachytherapy in April 2023, which thankfully stopped the tumour’s growth. What I didn’t realise then was that the journey doesn’t end with treatment, I now have liver scans every six months, as ocular melanoma has a tendency to metastasise to the liver in around 50% of cases.

Ocular Melanoma UK has been a huge support, offering advice, community, and hope through such an uncertain time. Because it’s so rare, affecting only about 6 people in a million, most GPs have never even heard of it.

We’re raising funds to help Ocular Melanoma UK continue their amazing work supporting families and raising much-needed awareness. Any support - big or small --means the world. 💛
