Story
In 2022, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thanks to a prompt diagnosis and the incredible care he received, he was able to get the treatment he needed, and it saved his life. I will always be grateful for the doctors, nurses, and researchers who work tirelessly to fight this disease.
Prostate Cancer UK is at the forefront of this fight. They fund groundbreaking research, raise awareness, and ensure men across the country have access to the support and information they need. Their work helps detect prostate cancer earlier, treat it more effectively, and ultimately save lives.
Sadly, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, and one man dies from it every 45 minutes. By increasing awareness, improving diagnosis, and supporting pioneering treatments, Prostate Cancer UK is making a difference every single day, but they rely on donations to continue this life-saving work.
On 29th March 2026, I will be running a marathon to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. Every mile I run will be in honour of my dad, and in support of the thousands of other men and families whose lives have been affected by this disease.
If you can, please donate and help me reach my fundraising target. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards research, awareness, and support for men facing prostate cancer in the UK.
Thank you for supporting me and for standing with every man in this fight.
