Story
Since starting my role as Business Development Manager at Eitan Medical, I have been lucky enough to travel around the country meeting and training clinicians, parents and patients who make up the Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) community.
Following visits to hospitals and patient support days, I have gained immense admiration for the clinical staff, their relationships with patients, and the patients’ determination and bravery to adapt to new lifestyles. Being involved with patient days has been truly inspiring for me both professionally and personally.
Motivated by everything I have experienced thus far, I have decided to raise funds for the charity PINNT. To do so, I will be running 26.2 miles, finishing at Salford Royal Hospital on August 10th, which coincides with HAN Awareness Week. To read more about the charity please follow this link https://pinnt.com/About-Us.aspx
In honour of HAN Awareness Week, my goal is to raise £100 for each day, aiming for a total of £700. (Since increased due to incredible support)
To help raise awareness and show recognition of some of the challenges faced by this patient group, I will be running with a fluid bag, Sapphire infusion pump, and rucksack. We aim to track the progress of this event using our our remote review capabilities with Sapphire Connect and Eitan Insights.
Thank you in advance for any donations you can make.
