Story
Every day, countless individuals face the silent battle of mental health struggles. These challenges can feel overwhelming, and isolating.
That’s why I am taking on the Ironman Leeds on July 27, 2025, as a personal challenge to raise funds for Mind, a charity dedicated to supporting those who are experiencing these very struggles. By participating in this event, I hope to shine a light on the importance of mental health awareness and advocacy.
An Ironman is a long distance triathlon and consists of a 3.8km swim, 180km cycle, and a 42.195km run, all back to back and within 17 hours. This will mentally and physically be the hardest thing I have ever done, but this is nothing compared to the struggles which 1000’s of people suffer with daily.
I am aiming to raise £1,000 to help Mind continue their vital work in providing resources and support for those in need. Your contribution can make a significant difference in someone’s life, ultimately helping to save lives, and get people back smiling again.
Please consider donating today and join me in making a positive impact on mental health, any donation is massively appreciated!
