Story

**** I wouldn't ask others to do what I wouldn't do myself - I will personally match every £1 donated with one of my own. ***

I have 3 siblings who are smart, successful and kind. They are all also dyslexic.

It's tough when there are things you find difficult that others seem to find easy - but they all found ways to adjust, persevere and succeed.

My family were lucky that they had my mum to fight their corner and encourage them to do more. They were surrounded by books growing up but never made to feel guilty or inadequate because they found it hard to access them. Because they had the right support and encouragement they have overcome the challenges of dyslexia and read for fun and for work.

Then Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity provides consultations, assessments, tuition and coaching to help people like my siblings thrive.

I'm running the London Marathon this year to help them continue their amazing work.
