We sadly lost our baby boy Dylan in 2020 and Sands was one of the organisations that helped us through and incredibly tough time.

To raise awareness and essential funds in Dylan’s memory, I’m undertaking two, one day, long distance rides. The first will be the Northumberland sportive with a distance of 163.3km (101.5 miles) on 19th July and the second ride will be the coast to coast cycle on the 26th July, the coast to coast cycle route will be 213.95 (134 miles).

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
