Berlin Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

In April 2025, myself and Abbie will be running the Berlin Half Marathon in memory of Abbie’s Dad, Mark Evans. Please take the time to read Abbie’s story below.

“On the 13th of June 2022, my families lives were changed forever. My Dad suffered a massive heart attack while at work, which led to cardiac arrest. He passed away shortly after and we never got to say goodbye.

My Dad was the most incredible person and so loved by everyone around him. He was kind, funny, generous and he is missed every single day by everyone who knew him.

I am running this race for him and for the British Heart Foundation. I will never get my Dad back but by supporting the BHF, I hope to help spare others what me and my family have been through. Your support — whether it’s through a donation or sharing this page — means more than I can express.”

Thank you for helping honour Abbie’s Dad's memory,

Abbie and Sam x
