Snowdon Sunrise 2024 · 20 July 2024 ·

Participants will be tackling Snowdon, in a truly unique way to enjoy the natural beauty and scenery of the beautiful Snowdonia national park at night.

Story

I am participating in the 'Snowdon Sunrise 2024' event, where I will embark on a rigorous trek, starting just after midnight, to reach the 1,085m Snowdon summit in time to witness the breath-taking sunrise.

This challenge is in support of a charity that has been close to my heart for many years. From getting covered in foam, dressing up and running around as Santa, climbing Pen Y Fan as well as other fundraising challenges, I have always been committed to supporting Naomi House & Jacksplace.

These hospices provide crucial care to children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. With specialist units catering to different age groups, they offer respite care, emergency care, end-of-life support, and ongoing bereavement services.

The charity's annual goal of raising £7.2 million is vital for running these units, as less than 10% of their income comes from the Government and other statutory bodies.

Your generosity plays a pivotal role in enabling them to continue their invaluable work, providing essential care services free of charge to those in need. Thank you for considering supporting this cause.
