London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

This year the Foundation has THIRTEEN incredible people taking on the world-famous 26.2 mile course, starting in Greenwich and finishing on The Mall to raise valuable funds for our extension of the Get Busy Living Centre!

Story

I am running the London Marathon on behalf of The Matt Hampson Foundation.

The charity's doors were opened in 2018 by founder and former England and Leicester Tigers rugby player, Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005 leaving him paralysed from the neck down, aged just 20.

Last January, one of my oldest and best friends, Charlie Mckie, suffered an awful injury during a rugby game - an injury that immediately impacted his memory and left him unable to remember who his parents or any of his friends were.

Luckily, Charlie is now fully recovered, which he insists is due to the amazing work and support he received from the Matt Hampson foundation.

Thank you in advance for any donations received - small or big, they will all make a difference to helping the next person who experiences something similar to Charlie.
