We are raising money for St Leonard's Hospice in memory of our colleague Andy, who was Head Greenkeeper at Sandburn Hall and sadly passed away in August 2025 at the age of 40.

Andy came to work at Sandburn Hall in 2003 as an Assistant Greenkeeper, following his Dad, Brian, over from Mount Murray on the Isle of Man. Andy was a founding member of the greenkeeping team and worked on the construction of the course.

Andy became our Head Greenkeeper in 2021. He was excellent at his job and passionate about the golf course and his greenkeeping team and colleagues.

We all miss Andy dearly, and are raising funds for St Leonard's Hospice, as was his wish.
