Making loom band bracelets
Our amazing friend James has inspired us with his bravery and courage whilst he battles a brain tumour. In true James style, he has been thinking of others whilst he has been so poorly & raising money for vital research into children’s brain tumours.
Reuben wanted to help too and together with his friends, he has been busy making loom band bracelets & keychains to sell to help him raise more funds for Children's Brain Tumour Research. Some of his money raised will also go towards Christmas presents for the children on the cancer ward at Nottingham University Hospital.
James’ Story:
Our lives were turned upside down in April 2024 when we found out that James had a malignant brain tumour.
James has had four operations and intensive treatment (chemotherapy and radiotherapy). James has been incredibly brave and we are SO proud of him.
James Is continuing to have chemotherapy treatment every four weeks. James has been unable to walk since his operation but he is working very hard on his goal to walk on his own again.
James is making personalised bracelets and keyrings to raise money for charity. He puts one of his Beads of Courage on each of them.
If you would like a bracelet or keyring please contact Katie on social media or by email at katie.kerry@mail.com. Each one is handmade by James so it might take a little while to get it to you. We ask that you make a minimum donation of £5.
All funds raised will go directly to the Childrens Brain Tumour Research Centre in Nottingham.
We really appreciate your kind donations and support.
