Support Sandia in the Windsor Half Marathon for Diabetes UK.
“Hi, I’m Sandia. This year I’m being brave and bold and I’m taking on the Windsor Half Marathon for the first time, in memory of my dearly beloved parents and Massi (aunt).
Sadly, I lost both my parents and Massi (aunt) over the last 15 months and a contributing factor to their passing was Diabetes.
Diabetes is a major cause of death and long term illnesses in the UK. Largely associated with asian families due to lack of knowledge, diet and family history.
Diabetes UK raises funds to help provide better support and care for those that need it. Diabetes UK wants to change lives, carry out extensive research and help people live well and longer. Finding a cure and preventing diabetes is achievable, therefore raising money for such a great cause is paramount.
Training for this half marathon will be challenging but a rewarding journey. Raising money for such a worthy and needed cause. Your donation will go directly towards essential research and support for those affected by Diabetes.
Please join me in this effort. Your support and generosity mean the world to me and not only my family but every family that has been impacted by diabetes, and to those we aim to help. Thank you for standing with me and for your kind contribution.”
